Rangers moved level on points with Celtic in the Scottish Premiership after a brilliant second half performance saw Danny Rohl's side take all three points away to their old rivals.
Yang Hyun-Jun gave the hosts the advantage after 19 minutes with an excellent strike following an impressive run.
Djeidi Gassama found himself through on goal a few minutes later but was denied by Celtic 'keeper Kasper Schmeichel.
Celtic continued to dominate in the first half as they looked to extend their lead - however the home side were denied on several occasions by the impressive Jack Butland.
Mikey Moore appeared to have equalised for the 'Gers in first half stoppage time, only for his effort to be ruled out with Youssef Chermiti clearly in an offside position after Butland's long ball forward.
Five minutes into the second half and the Light Blues found themselves level, with Niko Raskin picking out Chermiti for a tap in the six-yard box - to the delight of the away supporters.
Celtic looked to respond quickly and were nearly back in front but for another fine save from Butland - this time denying Celtic forward Daizen Maeda.
Chermiti struck again for Rangers in the 59th minute to give his side the lead with a composed finish after some poor defending from Celtic's Austin Trusty - leading to jubilant scenes in the away end once again.
The 'Gers made sure of the three points in the 71st minute after Gassama's through ball to Mikey Moore, with Moore firing home past the helpless Schmeichel.
The result sees the Light Blues still in third place but level on points with their bitter rivals after 20 league matches played; Hearts' win over Livingston means Rangers stay six points off the league leaders.
Up next for Rangers is a home game against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership on Tuesday, January 6.
